long before modern evolutionary science arrived
an Indian sage named Siddhartha Gautama
stated that each of us experience 13 stages of incarnation
in order to reach Buddhahood
He also stated that all 13 lives can be accomplished in one life-time
if we really set our heart and mind to it
It is amazing how prescient he was

see if you can recognize what stage you are presently experiencing
1. Atom
2. Cell
3. plant
4. insect
5. reptile
6 mammal
humans incarnate from the animal stage at a basic level of behavioral consciousness
and then gradually learn how achieve ever higher states of social and spiritual consciousness
Human incarnations
7 selfishly-centered
8 family centered - good parent/son/daughter
9 good-neighborly centered - religiously obedient
10 socially ambitious - civic/industrial leader
11 spiritually ambitious - humanitarian mission
12. Saintly - miraculous metaphysical example
13 Avatar - Enlightened
Given the right parents and ethical up-bringing
within a tolerant and progressive society
I believe that every person born today
is capable of sequencing each higher state of consciousness
in a single live time
