Social and Spiritual Snobbery

The natural force in the struggle for survival
driving evolution towards higher states of consciousness
and the ultimate state of absolute security
is personal ambition

ambition flows down two rivers
that converge in the ocean of desire

the hierarchical struggle to climb both
the material social ladder
and the invisible spiritual ladder

ambition finds satisfaction and security
in emotional adoration
in the sense of being more able
and feeling more desirable than others

and so Nature strives
for expressions of physical health and beauty
and spiritual strength of conviction

material awards, prizes, property
topped by a golden crown on the head
advertises social victory

an exclusive relationship and appointment with Almighty God
proclaims religious victory over lesser gods

the whole towering edifice of personal ambitions
supported by the foundation of humble effort
at the bottom of the pile

The Peasant and the Nobleman

Shamans in the Amazon
can name and individually identify
over a thousand different specie of plants and herbs
and explain their chemical and medicinal qualities

It has taken generations of scientific learning
since the moment Aristotle dissected his first octopus
and began the biological process
of formulating species into families an kingdoms
to arrive once again at the first hand knowledge
previously tabulated by our aboriginal ancestors
albeit in more sophisticated composition

the moral lesson
is that the peasant who farms the estate
and the nobleman who invested generations
climbing the social ladder
in order to arrive as over-seer of the estate
share the same basic intelligence regarding the fruit of the estate
both are blunt and plain spoken
and do not equivocate on basic Truths

in between these two social extremes
is the middle class
busy climbing the ladder
no longer peasant
not yet noble
striving for truths
they believe they have lost
and consequently equivocate
endlessly

Who is god? What and Where is Heaven?

I was born into a religious cult named after its founder
I was baptized in his name
and raised to believe that he is the one and only god of the universe
and that of i worshiped him  faithfully
without question
i would go to heaven and be with him eternally

i was solemnly warned by my elders
that if i started to question that faith
and decided not to believe that he was my god and savior
my sin of being born as a human
could never be expunged
and i would fry in hell for eternity

at age 13
as a duly confirmed christian
taking holy communion every sunday
with countless hours in church in prayer
listening dutifully to endless sermons from the holy bible
a veritable host of unbidden questions
began to appear involuntary in my post-pubertal mind

if i keep the faith
believe god was masquerading as a carpenter' son
and go to heaven
what then?

were there any sports in heaven
would i get that souped-up mazzerati i wanted
any woman i wanted
become rich and famous

or would i have to spend the rest of eternity kneeling in church
signing hymns of praise to him
and listening to sermons

nobody could give me any answers
not even jesus

so i gave up my faith

i spent the next 20 years
loudly proclaiming myself as an atheist
while sub-consciously wrestling with these questions

I stumbled on the eastern faith of reincarnation
which allowed sinful man
to return to life endlessly
and in that process eventually rise to the highest order
of self realization

one day
while in deep in meditation
a question arose in my mind
if i die
and am reborn over and over again
but cannot remember a single instant from any of my past lives
what was the point
which self was i realizing

so i stopped meditating

at age 33
god finally spoke
only one word
my name
"stuart"
all of a sudden
in one eureke instant
i knew the mind of god
i knew who he was
and what heaven is

Consciousness is god
and the planet i stand on
and all that consciously happens on it
is heaven
since then
i have tried to make the best conscious use
of the life i presently have
trying to improve the state of the heaven
i live in

Spontaneous Combustion

Spontaneous combustion
happens when the burning shame
of selfish self-revelation
is hot enough to ignite a spark
it bursts into the flames of hellfire
in the stomach
where the false ego is reduced to ashes

it only happens to vindictive witches
their souls are reborn
as selfless angels

Idealism

people in general
including friends and relatives
patronize me as an idealist
to which i take a dim view

those who do so
live compromised lives
dictated by social by circumstances
which they believe cannot be altered
they do not realize that they have been indoctrinated from birth
at home
and in state classrooms
throughout their infancy, childhood and teenage
to march to culturally indoctrinated ideologies
either as capitalists
or communists
and by religious doctrines
each firmly believing
as individuals
and as national structures
that they are more intelligent and holy than their neighbors

in that process have had their lives
together with god-given creative potential
severally compromised

billions have been artificially and systematically  brain-washed by their cultures
trained to be obedient workers on the mass production lines
their life efforts
exploited from cradle to grave
by the most opportunistic
and most greedy

thru the grace of god
via divine intervention
over the past 40 years of sustained effort
by practicing right brain training drills and exercises
I have managed to deprogram myself
from those artificial cultural restrictions

my consciousness is now relatively free
I more or less own it
at least as much as a rehabilitated indoctrinee is able
and in that process have uncovered my own creative potential
one eye is opened
and in the kingdom of the blind
a one-eyed man is king

so
my fiends, relatives and fellow countrymen
i say to all
an ideal life is not only possible
it is also a moral imperative
striving for the ideal is what life is all about
the ideal is always the most practical way to live

the compromised life
is a complicated life
society is left endlessly
cleaning up the mess

Bullies and Victims

Correct sibling spacing
(3 years apart)
puts an end to bully and victim
incorrect spacing
pushes the elder off the breast before it is weaned
resentment (unnaturally) follows

I call it
Cain and Abel syndrome

the bully/victim pattern follows throughout life

as parents
they end up either bullying their off-springor being bullied by their children

The New Man

After listening for several weeks to the Englishman Pierce Morgan's
impassioned nightly crusade against assault weapons
and finding it easy to grasp his civilized rationale
underlying his European attitude
i could not help but be struck
by how and why
he finds it so difficult to grasp our Western American view
and perhaps be unable to ever grasp it

if we go along with Darwin's theory of Natural Selection
and add to it the Psyche-Genetic premise
which argues that our DNA
is not only imprinted with our parents physical attributes
but also with 100,000 generations of ancestral survival experience
then there is a reason why our European cousin
does not understand our gun attitude
while we easily understand his

it is all to do with some 10 and more generations
of ancestral pioneering spirit
and the DNA imprint of our colonization experience
while establishing new civilizations in unsettled regions of the globe

Colonization is a natural imperative
an impulse to move
that comes from feelings of over-crowding an existing environment

pulling stakes out of an existing European civilization
and trusting in ones own  strength of character and innovative powers
to start again from scratch in the wilderness of the American west
required a process of natural selection
a special type of pioneering spirit was needed

by taking chances in the wilderness
Nature started a new brand
of more adventurous
smarter
and more resilient human colonizers
one's that could put a man on the moon
long before Europe did

one that Nature will use in the future
to colonize new worlds

what Pierce does not grasp
is that we are a new kind of human
a new civilization
one that is still maturing
still pioneering new thought
new attitudes
new ideas
one that still relies on how to use a gun
as it explores new frontiers
one that is not set in its ways
like elder Europe
